This year’s Summer Reading Challenge is go!<\/strong> You can sign up at libraries across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland – as well as online<\/a> – and it’s free <\/strong>to take part. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Summer Reading Challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The annual challenge encourages primary school children to read for pleasure over the summer holidays. During the challenge<\/a>, participants collect prizes and stickers, play games and, of course, discover a world of great books. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking part is simple<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Once signed up, children receive their packs and can start collecting special materials, which relate to this year’s theme: Gadgeeters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
