Creative projects – personalised phone case

0

I have an 11-year-old, who is in love with the phone she got last birthday. She also loves customising her stuff, so creating a personalised phone case was an ideal project for her.

Lots of sites offer customisation services for a variety of products. We used  one, which specialises in personalised phone cases and caters for a huge range of makes and models.

Simple steps to create your own personalised phone case

Mypersonalisedcase.co.uk is a very easy to use site and it took my daughter 10 minutes to create one. Here’s how:

1. You choose your product

Sofia was personalising her iPhone 7 case and opted for a soft case (there were also full wrap, wooden and wallet case options available).

2. Pick a layout

There were plenty of layouts to choose from:

3. Add photo/s

It was very easy to add photos and you can do this from your desktop, Facebook or Instagram. Sofia plumped for the triptic layout but only wanted to include one photo in the centre. She created a background that she liked for the other two panels and added these as photos to achieve the exact look she wanted.

4. Add texts and effects

As well as text, you can add emojis and filters to fully customise your product. 😍🥳😎

5. Add to trolley and choose your delivery

That’s it. Add to your trolley and then choose your delivery option. Standard (untracked) Royal Mail is £2.99 and premium tracked with signature is £4.99. An express option is also available.

What we thought

Sofia was very excited to open up the sleek packaging and was absolutely delighted with the results. I thought it was a really good quality product and at £13.99 (one of the more expensive options) very reasonably priced. The site was easy to navigate and the service was extremely efficient. I’d definitely recommend.

As well as being a great thing for tweens and teens to design for themselves, they would make a great present.
